Good Medicine In Bad Places was built on a simple belief:

For more than three decades, I’ve worked in public safety—first in law enforcement, then as a firefighter, paramedic, flight medic, rescue swimmer, and tactical medic. I’ve spent my career responding to the kinds of calls that most people only see in movies: critical trauma, helicopter rescues, SWAT operations, disasters, and medical emergencies where seconds matter.

Those experiences changed the way I think about leadership, teamwork, preparation, resilience, and what it means to serve others.

This platform exists to share those lessons.

Good Medicine In Bad Places is a multimedia brand dedicated to telling real stories from emergency medicine, tactical operations, aviation, rescue, and the people who dedicate their lives to protecting others.
